This evening study of Mt Ruapehu (9175 feet) was done from a series of photos I took one evening at the Wanganui Tramping Club Hut on the Turoa side of the mountain. The sunset turned the whole mountain an amazing shade of dusky pink and cream: never-to-be-forgotten!
